SWODA has free coats for children and adults in Southwest Oklahoma

posted Jan 25, 2016, 9:54 AM by Mary Peck

The South Western Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA) has lightweight coats, heavyweight coats, hoodies and sweatshirts for children and adults thanks to the generosity of area citizens. New and “gently” used coats were collected from drop boxes throughout Southwestern Oklahoma.

Jackie Gardner, SWODA administrative assistant, oversees the collection and distribution of the coats. If you need a coat, just give Jackie a call at (800) 627-4882 ext. 100 or email her at Jackie@swoda.org. You can pick up coats at the SWODA office located at 420 Sooner Drive, Burns Flat, or you can make arrangements for delivery.

The SWODA region is eight counties in rural Oklahoma—Beckham, Custer, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills and Washita—covering over 7,000 square miles and approximately 110,000 residents. For more information about SWODA services, contact us at (580) 562-4882 on the web at swoda.org.
